I’m Shanelle, the artist and founder behind Tide & Twig.

I've always been drawn to the coast. The sound of the waves, weathered driftwood, seashells tucked into the sand, and the peaceful feeling that only the ocean can bring have always inspired me.

If it's coastal, chances are I love it.

In 2021, my husband Matt and I made the leap from Texas to North Carolina to be closer to family and the ocean. Along with our dogs, we traded busy life for salt air, beach walks, and a slower pace. It didn't take long to realize we had found home.

That's where Tide & Twig truly came to life.

What began as a creative outlet quickly grew into a passion for creating unique coastal pieces inspired by the shoreline. From beach-found treasures like shells and shark teeth to watercolor art, hand-embroidered pieces, and vinyl accents, each creation is inspired by my love for the coast and the little details that make it special.

Whether I'm beachcombing at sunrise, sketching new ideas, embroidering in my studio, or creating something completely new, my hope is that each piece captures the calm, joy, and nostalgia of days spent by the water.
