I’m Shanelle, the artist and founder behind Tide & Twig.

I've always been drawn to the coast. The sound of the waves, weathered driftwood, seashells tucked into the sand, and the peaceful feeling that only the ocean can bring have always inspired me.

If it's coastal, chances are I love it.

In 2021, my husband Matt and I made the leap from Texas to North Carolina to be closer to family and the ocean. Along with our dogs, we traded busy life for salt air, beach walks, and a slower pace. It didn't take long to realize we had found home.

That's where Tide & Twig truly came to life.

What began as a creative outlet quickly grew into a passion for transforming the treasures of the shoreline into handcrafted coastal pieces. Every shell, piece of sea glass, and sharks tooth tells its own story, and I love giving those treasures new life.

Whether I'm beachcombing at sunrise, sketching new ideas, or creating in my studio, my hope is that each creation captures the calm, joy, and nostalgia of days spent by the water.
